FC VICTORIA U17 a senior of Victoria Soccer Academy (VSA), is a registered Talent Organization for disadvantaged children from various slums in Nairobi, situated in Deep Sea Slum in Highridge Area, Nairobi Westland’s division. FC VICTORIA and VSA affiliated to the Football Kenya Federation, VSA we are committed to develop youth football from the grass root in Kenya. It was formed in 26TH November 2006 to identify and develop talents among kids aged from 5 years to 17 years old both Boys and Girls that come from disadvantaged backgrounds. We started with 8 kids and currently we have signed up 125 kids from different parts of the Country, 41 are orphans, 21 kids have single parents while 63 kids have both parents.
Our experience has shown us that a strong club structure, consistent developmental philosophy and integrated learning environment will substantially increase a player’s development.
In preparing players, we have set forth a structure (camps, team training, club training, specialty training, private lessons, etc.) that we feel best captures those elements and provides incentive to players at all levels.
Ultimately our desire is to assist players in their development (technical, tactical, physical, and mental) in a fun but challenging environment.
Academy Training
Over the years VSA has developed a reputation for developing competitive and recognized players. Several VSA trained players have been fortunate enough to have been selected to play on Regional teams (Copa Coca cola tournament, etc.).
Our program is designed to prepare players for the challenges at the next level, whether that may be within the VSA structure or a top soccer program.
